These door systems are manufactured together and are delivered/installed as a pre-hung unit for consistency in tolerances from manufacturing to final application. We have engineered several features uncommon to the iron entry door manufacturing market including a double sealing astragal system and solid steel flush bolt locking mechanisms. Additionally, each ball bearing, barrel hinge utilized is made of iron and welded into place for increased durability and strength. These units are certified for forced entry resistance and provide the strength for your peace of mind. Under normal usage conditions these iron door systems will not warp, sag or deteriorate like wood units and with only minor maintenance should retain their beauty for a lifetime.

Energy Efficient Vintage Ironworks door units, including the frames, side lights and transom units, are constructed with 14 gauge galvanized tubing creating a multi-chambered framework which is filled with insulating polyurethane foam making them an energy efficient choice. An optional upgrade to insulated glass will intensify the energy efficiency of each door system. Additionally, each double door unit features a multiple astragal design to better insulate and secure the middle seam of the unit. This enhances the beauty, strength and security of your choice with additional benefits for all climates.
